Abstract

Sulfonyl hydrazine is a new functionality for the Lewis base organocatalysis. N^α-substituted camphorsulfonyl hydrazines (CaSH) are effective organocatalysts for the asymmetric aza-Michael addition to α,β-unsaturated aldehydes with enantioselectivity of up to 90%.
