Abstract

To further support teaching and learning at the University, the Academy of Film and the University Library have joined forces to set up a video-streaming platform named HKBUtube (Student Productions). It archives and gives access to video productions created by students of the Academy. These high-quality student productions possess intrinsic educational value and can be reused as an important teaching and learning resource.

HKBUtube (Student Productions) has been well-received in terms of use and survey feedback. Results indicated that 85% of student respondents had learnt something useful from this resource and 67 % of faculty respondents agreed that it had helped to improve the quality of student work.
