Abstract
Time is Now is a smart textile costume conceived and spec'ed by Eugene Birman and designed by Bruno Birmanis. It features the first application of fiberoptic threads with inbuilt, programmable luminescence to classical music performance. The costume debuted at DE SINGEL in Antwerp, Belgium as part of the Digitise Me! festival.
