Abstract

The uniform design (UD) was proposed by Fang and Wang more than a decade ago as and has been widely used in China. The advantage of UD is that a large number of factors and levels can be accommodated using a moderate number of experiments. This paper reviews the theory and applications of UD and highlights several recent results.
