This novella is a visually rich experience, adorned with nearly 100 authentic visuals that serve to deepen and illuminate the reader’s journey. Immerse yourself in a confluence of sight and insight, where each page turns like a river stone to reveal the hidden paths of personal discovery.

The Palm Reader is a collection of mini-stories, told in combination with little poems and pictures. Each part can be read on its own, like a one-act play. The narrator—the palm reader—is a witness, and sometimes a participant or main character in individual scenes. A juxtaposition of different, and sometimes parallel narratives, each frame unfolds behind different walls of a theatre. Nevertheless, the stories, running like different lines on a palm, supplement and integrate into each other in a certain way. These tales, like water drops in an ocean, gather and reflect a bigger universe.

Proverse Hong Kong recognised The Palm Reader as a Semi-finalist in the International Proverse Prize 2020 (Fiction).
