title = "The Conceptual Framework of the Chinese Quality of Life (ChQOL) Instrument",
abstract = "When a new health-related quality of life (HRQOL) instrument is designed, it is important to develop the conceptual structure of the model during the process of development. The newly developed Chinese quality of life instrument (ChQOL) — a new generic HRQOL instrument — should be more sensitive in detecting the efficacy of Chinese medicine and supplementing the existing generic HRQOL instruments. This paper discusses the conceptual modeling in setting up the ChQOL based on the health concepts and practice of Chinese medicine.",
