Abstract
This creative work (short story) concerns an obscure composer who exempted himself from the world after his wife and child were killed in a road accident. The composer works for years on a choral piece he feels he can never publish, dedicated to his family. The story explores relations between the living and the dead, and how relationships between people, memory and art develop over time.
