Abstract

Single-crystal X-ray analysis of the trinuclear complex [Ag3L2][CF3SO3]3 [L = {(o-Ph2C6H4)CH = NCH2CH2}3N], synthesized by interaction of Ag(CF3SO3), N(CH2CH2NH2)3 and o-Ph2PC6H4(CHO) in 3:2:6 molar ratio in ethanol, shows that the complex has approximate C2 symmetry and is composed of a four- and two five-coordinate silver(I) centres.
