Abstract
Three new compounds, including a sesquiterpenoid glucoside gallate, 2Z,4E,1R,2S,4R,6S-dihydrophaseic acid 4-O-(6-O-galloyl) - D-glucopyranoside (1), two new phenolic glucoside gallates, 4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzoic acid 4-O-(6-O-galloyl) - D-glucopyranoside (2) and 3,4-dimethoxyphenol 1-O-(6-O-galloyl) - D-glucopyranoside (3), together with eight known compounds (411), have been isolated from the stems of Lagerstroemia balansae. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidences.
