Abstract

Using the role-play and gamification, this case study aims to provide an innovative pedagogical approach in the use of guest speakers for public relations education. An assessment model included the evaluation of the guest sharing talk, Disney-inspired role-play gamified learning, impact on learning, and cognitive and affective changes of public relations attributes in joining the industry. Survey results and textual analysis of student blog writing articles support this idea for student active learning.
