Abstract

This project explores the government’s involvement and actions within the framework of different types of CSR, and organization-public relationships. In addition, the question whether it takes the leadership role in advocating sustainability in Hong Kong is explored. The value of this project is that there is little study linking responsible leadership, government-publics communication and sustainable development in the Hong Kong context. It will contribute to the existing communication management literature by offering some insights into Hong Kong government’s sustainability leadership.
