Abstract

Chiral amino-phosphines and amino-phosphine oxides have garnered significant attention due to their unique biological properties and widespread applications as chiral ligands and organocatalysts in asymmetric catalysis. The importance of these compounds is underscored by the growing interest in developing various stereoselective synthetic methods to access chiral α-, β-, and γ-aminophosphine and phosphine oxides. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the advances in stereoselective synthesis of chiral α-, β-, and γ-aminophosphine oxides from 1999 to 2025, highlighting key developments and their implications in the field of asymmetric catalysis.
