The importance of these compounds is underscored by the growing interest in developing various stereoselective synthetic methods to access chiral α-, β-, and γ-aminophosphine and phosphine oxides. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the advances in stereoselective synthesis of chiral α-, β-, and γ-aminophosphine oxides from 1999 to 2025, highlighting key developments and their implications in the field of asymmetric catalysis.
