Abstract

From the fruits of Amorpha fruticosa L. (Leguminosae), a new natural compound 6a,12a-dehydrosermundone along with 10 known compounds (8 flavonoids, 1 bibenzyl and 1 terpene) were isolated. The structure of the new natural compound was elucidated on the basis of NMR spectroscopic technique.
