Abstract

The project investigated and implemented the use of online digital videos in social media to provide learning support for students of the Academy of Visual Arts. The deliverable of the project was a collection of online digital training videos that aim to provide step-by-step instructions for students to acquire the skills and knowledge to master popular open-source software programs for multimedia art creation. The annotated videos are organised into the weekly schedule of the existing online teaching and learning platforms. Students can refer to the online demonstration sessions when they work on their assignments and projects. Other interested parties can also go through the materials before they decide to enrol in the program or the courses.
