Abstract

The molecule of the title compound, C₁₆H₁₆N ₂O₅, a biologically active benzamide derivative, is not planar. The crystal packing is stabilized by C-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen-bond interactions to form one-dimensional chains parallel to the a axis.
