Abstract
7x7, Rhizome’s legendary art & tech conference that pairs 7 artists with 7 technologists and asks them to “make something new,” will return on May 16 in New York City. Taking place at the New Museum's newly expanded building designed by OMA / Shohei Shigematsu and Rem Koolhaas, this edition is co-curated with two collaborators. Neema Githere is an artist and theorist whose practice explores love, indigeneity, and the psychosocial impact of Big Tech, including through Data Healing, a project that prototypes interventions to algorithmic harm. 邊界 biānjiè research group is a research-driven platform for editorial production, curation, and artistic practice led by researchers Ian Margo and Alexandre Montserrat (世然).
