Abstract

Light tunneling in multiplayer structures consisting e-negative (ENG) and Li-negative (MNG) materials is investigated theoretically and experimentally. A "spatial-averaged singlenegative" gap is observed due to tunneling of interface modes in periodical structures and completely transparency via tunneling is realized in heterostructures.
