Abstract

Organic-inorganic halide perovskites have emerged as a promising semiconductor material, which merits their particular adjustable electronic energy bands, variable chemical composition, and ease of fabrication of high-quality crystals and thin films. So far, perovskite is not only a bright star in photovoltaic fields but also shows its versatility in optoelectronic devices, including light-emitting diodes, photodetectors, and memristors. The interdisciplinary research on perovskite will further promote the solution of problems on the road to commercialization, such as material stability and large-scale production.
