Abstract

Investigation of the roots of Taxus yunnanensis led to the isolation of two groups of interconvertible taxanes, made up by two and three compounds, respectively. Three of the compounds are new and were identified as 1 β-hydroxy-10-deacetyl-baccatin I, 10-deacetyl-baccatin VI and 9-deacetyl-baccatin VI.
