Abstract

Inpost is a spatial inversion of the communication booth—not a phone to speak into but a device to listen through. It is a site-specific prosthesis imploding telecommunications heritage into a speculative soft-machine for acoustic reorientation. It operates under a logic of inversion: if the
telephone booth once externalized the self across distance, Inpost invites a recursive enclosure, a reflexive chamber wherein the city is scaled and contoured to the sensory body.
