Ginsenoside Rg1 Exerts Anti-eczema Effects in Pharmacological Models

Research output: Contribution to conferenceConference abstractpeer-review

Abstract

It was found that ginsenoside Rg1 exerts anti-eczema effects in a mouse model without overt toxicity. I was further found that the compound inhibits M2 macrophage polarization, in which AMPKα inactivation is involved, in mouse lesional skin and in cultured cells. These novel findings indicate that ginsenoside Rg1 can be developed into an effective and safe anti-eczema agent. This study was supported by Laboratory JaneClare Limited.
