Abstract
Two enhancements are proposed for multicopy ALOHA. First, a probabilistic transmission policy is proposed to relax the constraint of an integral number of copies. Secondly, artificial power capture is introduced to multicopy ALOHA. The numerical results show that generalised multicopy ALOHA can significantly increase the throughput when the traffic is heavy.
