Abstract

The Epilogue reviews the common themes articulated in the six chapters of the present volume; in particular, the authors note that all authors share the commitment to a Confucian understanding of person that is different from other philosophical traditions. Moreover, taking stock of the preceding discussion, the authors propose Confucian ethics of technology can be understood as striving for harmonious technology and harmonious technological practices. The epilogue ends with a speculation on the future of Confucian ethics of technology.
