Entangled beings

I removed this from a work-in-progress because it seemed tangential and self-contained. It developed from a chapter of my dissertation on two Thai films (Manta Ray and Come Here) which raise ethical questions about witness and our responsibility to the other. In the course of my PhD, I have been exploring videographic criticism as a means of supplementing and complementing my textual analysis. This was made with iMovie (but I am now starting to learn Premiere Pro). I love how mashups allow a direct experience with the Kuleshov effect, with each potential point of connection generating possible narratives and worlds.
