Abstract

In this project in 2013, we developed seven videos for the PR courses of PRAD4005, Crisis Communication and Public Relations and ICM3330, Strategic Public Relations. The videos were uploaded to BUTube (http://hkbutube.lib.hkbu.edu.hk/teach/pra-prcm.html) of the HKBU Library website. The videos were used in lectures and tutorial sessions of the two courses about PR to improve the pedagogical approach of the respective courses by providing students with examples of applications in local, professional contexts of the PR theories they learned; to enhance their engagement and participation in classes; and to improve their ability in critical reasoning about PR issues.
