Abstract
While verification of health information often hinges on cognitive evaluation, embodied experiences also play a critical role in how individuals assess and internalize health messages. Drawing from a recent study on a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)-based health promotion program, Dr. Zhou will discuss the concept of embodied self-verification, a process through which individuals rely on their embodied experiences to validate and reinforce health behaviors and practices.
