Abstract

This chapter is written for public relations scholars, practitioners, and students who have interest in government affairs for business organizations, especially multinational corporations (MNCs) in China. Although there is a plethora of books on public relations or doing business in China on the market, none of them, to my best knowledge, has delineated insights of government affairs for MNCs in China from an integrated perspective of public relations and corporate political activity. It is my hope that this chapter, which provides a combination of succinct analysis and recommendations, casts some new insights on business government interaction.
