Abstract

Five abietane diterpenoids, przewalskin, przewaquinone A, tanshinone II A, tanshinone I and tanshinone II B were isolated from the roots ofSalvia przewalskii. Przewalskin is a new compound. Its structure was established by a detailed spectroscopic analysis.
