Abstract

The interaction of (Ph₂P)NC(Ph)[N(SiMe₃)₂] with 1 equivalent of [RuCl₂(PPh₃)₃] in tetrahydrofuran gave [RuCl₂(PPh₃){N(SiMe₃)C(Ph)NH(PPh₂)}] whose structure established by X-ray crystallography suggests the presence of a γ-agostic interaction between ruthenium and one of the methyl groups of the N(SiMe₃) imino group.
