Abstract

Treatment of [Os6(CO)16(NCR)2] (R = Me or Et) with 7-azaindole resulted in the formation of [Os6(CO)14(μ-CO)(μ-H)(μ-η 1:η2-C8H5N3)(R)] involving coupling of the alkyl cyanide and 7-azaindole.
