Abstract

Microscopic examination is a major method for powdered crude drugs. Previously, we reported characteristics of starch, a crude drug component, on microscopic images and polarized microscopic images. In this paper, we present characteristics of vessels in Rehmanniae Radix aimed at computer-aided examination of traditional Chinese patent medicine.
