C+L band tunable ultra-narrow linewidth fiber laser

Abstract

We propose a C+L band tunable ultra-narrow linewidth fiber laser using a sub-ring and saturable absorber. The measured optical signal-to-noise ratio reaches 80.6 dB and the linewidth is several hundred Hertz in each wavelength channel.
