The great violinist Charles Castleman and the Hong Kong Children's Symphony Orchestra will present you two great symphonic and violin classics this April. Charles Castleman will plays the Bach's Double Violin Concerto with Hong Kong renowned violinists, his lovely students, Gary Ngan (22/4) and Kitty Cheung (23/4) separately. Castleman will also perform Mozart's violin concerto no. 5 with conductor Jeff Leung on 22 Apr.; and the Beethoven's violin concerto in D major with conductor Andrew Ling. All three are the most famous violin classics that you should not miss.

The orchestra will play other famous repertoire from the Romantic Era to the 20th centrury, which include Wagner's Rienzi Overture under the baton of the resident conductor Jeff Leung, Ravel's La valse with the honorary guest conductor Prof. Gabriel Leung on 22 April, and the Brahms' Academic Festive Overture conducted by Prof. Johnny Poon, the music department head of the Hong Kong Baptist University, on 23 April.
