Abstract

Student involvement in enhancing student learning and development is playing an important role in the whole person education advocated by the Hong Kong Baptist University, particularly in the undergraduate halls which aim to foster a living-learning environment. Through the two programmes, namely the Community Engagement Organisers and the Green Quest, it is demonstrated that there is a positive correlation between student involvement and the success of these programmes, fostering a care towards the community by the students.
