    Abstract

The purpose of this project was to encourage active learning in undergraduate education through PBL. Physical Education and Recreation Management Program students worked together in groups to investigate psychological preparations of the Hong Kong sport team athletes for the Asian Games 2010. They utilized their knowledge in sport psychology and information of interviews to design a 12-month psychological training program for their targeted athletes to solve psychological problems during competition. Self-reflection reports of students revealed enhancement in sport psychology knowledge, improvement in team work, communication and thinking skills through the PBL project.
