Abstract

This paper serves a brief introduction to this book, which consists of 30 peer-reviewed papers selected from the ISPRS Workshop on Spatial Analysis and Decision Making, held in Hong Kong during 3–5 December 2003. The background of this workshop is presented, the developments in spatial analysis and decision making is briefly reviewed and the content of this book is introduced.
