Abstract

The name Trachylejeunea chinensis Herzog is lectotypified, and the species transferred to the genus Lejeunea based on the following diagnostic features: a lejeuneoid gynoecial innovation, lack of ocelli in the leaf lobe, non-papillose leaf cells, and an obovate, smooth perianth. The genus Trachylejeunea is excluded from China and Asia by this transfer.
