Abstract
Reaction of the ditopic hexa-aza-macrocycle (1) with tetracarbonyldichlorodirhodium(I) yields the dinuclear rhodium-carbonyl complex (1)-Rh2, which may be considered as a cryptate of a triply bridged [Rh(CO)3Rh]2+ unit held inside the intramolecular cavity of the ligand.
