Abstract

The title compound, C7H6F2N2O, is an important inter-mediate for the synthesis of biologically active heterocyclic compounds. The hydrazide group is nearly coplanar with the benzene ring. The crystal packing is stabilized by N - H⋯O and N - H⋯N hydrogen-bond inter-actions.
