Abstract

I serve as the ink painter for the RTHK 31 television program "Hong Kong Stories: Master in House 2," creating and filming relevant ink artworks for each episode, which also serve as the opening sequence.

"Hong Kong Stories: Master in House 2” explores the world of various craftsmen, allowing viewers to experience their passion and pursuit of craftsmanship. From traditional handmade techniques to modern creative designs, and from ancient craft heritage to contemporary innovative practices, each piece embodies the "artisan spirit" of the masters. It is not just a showcase of craftsmanship, but a story about people and creation.

The program continues to focus on personal stories while introducing the unique skills of the masters, giving the audience an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of these trades. Through visual presentations, it guides viewers into the production process, allowing them to feel the artisans' relentless pursuit of excellence and understand what true quality means. An object that seems ordinary may not be highly valued, yet it contains countless beautiful details, representing both a journey of skill and a commitment to persistence.
