Abstract
本文旨在研究新时期香港大学生普通话学习的情况。文章应用焦点小组访谈法,对香港一所大学参加普通话课程的本地学生进行调查。通过内容分析法,文章发现香港大学生的普通话学习具有实用主义动机,其学习难点主要在于发音。受访学生还指出他们学习普通话的目标期待和对普通话不同变体的看法。此外,普通话学习软件的使用情况及问题也得到了讨论。本研究的发现对普通话教学及相关资源发展将提供十分重要的实证依据。
The present study aims to look into Putonghua learning of tertiary university students in the new era in Hong Kong.Through focus group interviews,this study investigates local students attending Putonghua courses at a university in Hong Kong.Based on a content analysis of the interview data,this study finds that local tertiary students have very pragmatic motivation of learning Putonghua. Students regarded the learning of pronunciation extremely difficult.In addition,students indicated their expected criteria of the target language and their attitudes towards different varieties of Mandarin.The application of teaching and learning software was also discussed in the study.Findings of the study provide significant empirical evidence for Putonghua pedagogy development as well as the enrichment of relevant teaching materials.
