Abstract
《胖姑》是北昆经典折子戏之一,尤以韩世昌的演绎闻名。戏文讲述胖姑、王留1姐弟俩住在长安城郊,适逢唐僧饯会,同去看热闹,回家后向爷爷演说饯会社火的故事。其戏文可溯源至元人杨暹（后改名讷,一字景贤）《西游记杂剧》,但是演出的流行直到清代乾隆以后才有较多文献佐证。《胖姑》不仅被编入宫廷大戏《昇平宝筏》,又见于《缀白裘》与《天后宫行会图》。依照文献时序而言,《昇平宝筏》编收《胖姑》是此一剧目在清代流行的重要节点。
