Abstract

The Silk Road unfolds like a vast scroll of mountains and rivers, using diverse civilizations as its brush and ink to depict the most magnificent artistic panorama in human history. As an important part of the "Asian Civilization Week" series of events organized by the School of Art and Archaeology and the Art and Archaeology Museum of Zhejiang University, the Department of Fine Arts holds an art exhibition themed "Silk Road Civilization," along with a calligraphy, painting, and seal carving exchange exhibition among universities in China, Japan, and South Korea, as well as a graphic seal exhibition of "Belt and Road" countries. This aims to imbue ancient traditional art forms with new ideological content and spiritual connotations, resonating with the new era of the Silk Road.
