漢字教學中的文化元素 ―以「錯別字辨識」單元為例

漢字既有「工具」價值，也同時兼具「文化」價值；把「文化元素」統整到漢字教學中，「工具」與「文化」是可以兼得的魚與熊掌。配合大學學制由三年轉變為四年的契機，大學在漢字教學單元中會融入更多文化元素，讓學生能在文化的浸潤下更精準地掌握漢字、學習漢字；進而培養學生熱愛本國文化的情懷。本文以筆者任教及籌畫的教學單元為例，說明在漢字學習課程中融入文化元素之必要及預期教學效果。


Chinese characters not only have its function but also have its cultural value. Both will be acquired when we properly incorporate cultural elements into Chinese language teaching. In time of emerging a new university undergraduate curriculum which will be moved from 3 towards 4 years, more diverse cultural elements will be included in the teaching of Chinese language so as to help students mastering Chinese characters and, at the same time, to cultivate their affections towards the culture of their home country. This paper will use a university course entitled “Differentiation of confusable words” as an example to illustrate how cultural elements incorporated into Chinese language curriculum and its learning outcomes.
