    Abstract

    鴨脷洲、香港仔和南丫島區是一個歷史悠久的漁業區。早於250多年前,已有漁舟聚集灣頭並出現相關的祭祀活動,建立了舊有的社群。及西力東漸,該區成了洋船在華南取淡水要站,殖民地年代,一直是港府和西式教會經營港島南岸的重點區,發展成區內的外來社群。戰後,隨政局變化,港府孕育出一系列管理「漁民」人口的措施,並以該區作試點,該區歷史對香港的整體發展影響尤為深遠。本研究以「點、線、面」層次,在區內分別挑選了十二幢能反映出鴨香南社區水陸文化的建築,分三階段進行歷史及建築特色的調查,亦就不同文物點的現況,提出了不同的詮釋和活化等建議,並借鏡了本地及外地一些相關的現有例子和經驗,更具體地考究這些建議的可行性。
