Abstract
For the existing reports and accounts on the student evangelism in Sino-Japanese War, 1937-1945,are incomprehensive in their scope and using of historical sources, this article aims to investigate this history by studying the historical details of missionaries, students, and Chinese evangelists who participated in the student evangelism of that period. It attempts to correct the present misunderstanding that the flowering of student evangelism at that time was mainly the contribution of few Chinese evangelists. The article also attempts to indicate the interrelation of social change and church development shown in this history.
