In the digital era, audiences are increasingly active participants—creating, sharing, and curating content via online platforms and social media, thereby transforming curatorial practices and broadening access to artistic expression.
The paper compares the operational approaches of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Newark Museum to highlight a growing institutional focus on education and public outreach. This trend reflects a broader movement to democratize art and foster inclusivity.
