心理词库理论在口译中的运用—建立译员双语心理词库之初探

    Abstract

    本文回顾了心理词库及双语心理词库表征模型,揭示了建立译员完整双语心理词库的重要性,并在此基础上提出了可能的译员口译过程中双语心理词库的表征模型,最后归纳出建立完整译员双语心理词库的方法和建议。

    This article first reviews various representation models for mental lexicon and bilingual mental lexicon found in present literature. Second, with emphasis on the significance of building bilingual mental lexicon representation model for interpreters, this article proposes a possible representation model of bilingual mental lexicon for an interpreter which explains the different formation of bilingual mental lexical system in interpreters’ brains. To conclude, it provides methods and suggestions for interpreters on how they can develop a comparatively mature, integrated, systematic bilingual mental lexicon that can best serve the need of interpreting practice.
