Abstract
The dialogue presented in this issue features an exchange of views among seven Pulitzer Prize winners regarding current challenges to serious journalism. Both scholars and media professionals have observed that serious journalism has been on the decline as more people get distracted by entertainment, infotainment, and online fare. Although there are good reasons for one to feel pessimistic about the situation, these prize-winning journalists share their profound experiences with practicing their craft and their faith in its future. This column also introduces other articles that are published in the current issue.
