Abstract

本文主要回顧香港浸會大學圖書館系統部成立三年以來的工作,詳細討論浸大圖書館資訊系統管理和發展所運用的策略,總結從工作中獲得的經驗,並重點介紹一些比較具創意及高效益的自行開發的系統項目,包括網上選購新書目程式、電子期刊自動編目程式、及大學智能卡的系統結構建議書等。

This paper aims to explore the experiences and managerial skills gained from a series of information technology projects conducted by the Systems Office, Hong Kong Baptist University Library, since its establishment in 1999. Special accounts will be given on three projects: the Web-Based New Book List Selection Program, the Electronic Journal Computer Cataloging Program, and the Infrastructure Proposal of the Baptist University Smart Card System.
